Marbles and Mailbox

Mum always wanted a mailbox at the front of the yard and we never thought that a ridiculous idea. Dad made one like this for her and he spent allot of time welding large chain together in this spiral shape then made the box on the top. Mum painted nearly every thing black and white and this included the fence and the "mailbox". She was quite the innovator really. I don't remember any thing much more than wasp nests and spiders being in there because home delivered mail only came to Katherine in the 90s.
