To all my faithful readers. You guys really have been there for me. As a thank you for your time and energy, I would like to offer this challenge.

I'm going to give a way a prezzie of some things I have made to the person who writes to me at kvmscott@hotmail.com with the funniest scene from their life. Closing date 31/1/09. Please include your postal details so I can send it off.

I submitted one at 11.37pm! But I thought of these too: Tessa is 4 yrs old, she comes running from the playground back to me and declares breathlessly "Oh I think I'm gonna 'fate'! Stifling a giggle, I ask why. She reaches down, " I think I just broke my 'angle'! I suppose people can 'fate' if they break their 'angle'.
But wait there's more....
I was asked to sing at a Christmas charity concert. I must have been a very important performer because they had me on after all the animals... Anyway, I had arranged a magnificent adaptation of 'Away in a Manger', all bluesy and with lots of drums, loud. I stepped up, the compare said such wonderful things about the next performer that I started to wonder if it was me he was talking about! On and on he extolled my vocal prowess, centre stage awaited. The musicians were ready, drummer pumped, guitarist poised - I at the microphone. My first note (accapella) frightened the camels and donkeys backstage so much that it caused a general stampede! Worst was to come;, it gave me such a fright that I subconsciously mimicked the sound of a donkey! Yes, in front of an audience of 5000 people....I sang like a donkey.... However, order was restored and we went on to perform the song just fine. I wonder if this has ever happened to Celine....
What a laugh.
